Editorial Policy

Our editorial principles

PublicHelp is an independent information directory. We help people discover government support, charity services, royal-linked organisations, guides and household planning tools. We do not administer benefits, award grants or decide eligibility.

How we describe support

We distinguish government schemes, charities, individual charitable programmes, royal-linked organisations, practical guides and calculators. A royal connection does not mean a service is funded by the Royal Household or endorsed by it.

Review and publication

Editors check the provider identity, official source, geographical coverage, intended beneficiaries, application route and availability as far as published information permits. Uncertain or time-limited information is labelled accordingly. A record can be revised or withdrawn if evidence changes.

Editorial independence

No commercial relationship or sponsorship should determine whether someone qualifies for support or change the factual eligibility requirements of a programme. Where paid placements are introduced they should be clearly labelled and separated from editorial ranking.

Corrections

We welcome reports of inaccurate links, expired programmes and unclear information through our Contact page. We examine corrections against the original provider information.

Important: Information is general guidance, not a legal, financial or benefit entitlement decision. Always confirm current requirements with the provider before applying.
