Help with school meals and education costs in England

What support might be available?

Support may include free school meals and the 16 to 19 Bursary Fund for eligible students. These arrangements involve schools, colleges or local councils.

How to get started

Check free school meals using your postcode and contact the school. For post-16 study costs, speak to student services at the school or college about bursary eligibility, documents and deadlines.

Important to know

Provider assessment and current academic-year rules matter; grants are not automatic.
